Yarn Matt Smith and Doctor Who

Sorry I've been gone so long, I've just been discovering the greatest show of mankind.

That show is Doctor Who.

I think I've seen about maybe 5 or 6 episodes so far... and I'm currently mentally preparing myself for Angels Take Manhattan. SO MANY FEELS are said to come.. :'(

So anyway, do you guys think I'm considered a Whovian now? I know I've only scratched the surface of the Doctor Who world, but...... I know more than the average person, so.... do I get points for that? PLEZ?????

Anyway, since Doctor Who has taken OVER MY BRAIN, I decided to create the Eleventh Doctor in amigurumi. HERE HE IS:

With fez, bow tie, and TARDIS nightlight!
"Apples are rubbish. I hate apples."
I wonder if the Tenth Doctor's hatred of apples somehow transpired into The Eleventh?
Fezzes are cool.
So are bow ties.
Also, do you like my new TARDIS night-light? I got at F.Y.E at the mall, and I LOVE IT. So here's another pic of it:

Bye. I must go to the TARDIS......

Christmas Gifts and Whatnot

I have been so very busy the past few weeks, what with all the things due at school and the gifts I have to crochet.

Basically what I've been doing almost every chance I get is to lock myself up in my room, turn on the radio, and crochet like there's no tomorrow.

Those hours have paid off, though. And I finally have (most of) them done. Here they are:

(From left to right)
Rarity, Opalescence, Pinkie Pie, Gummy, Justin Bieber, and Liam Payne (with really bad hair. :P)
UPDATE: I gave them to my friends on Friday of last week, and they all loved them!

Sorry for the real short post, but I'm busy and tired. I'm thinking of opening an Etsy store soon..

HINT HINT. :)

Happy rest of holiday break!

Pinkie Pie Completion and One Direction Stuff

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Against all odds, Pinkie Pie is finished! What with this cold I have right now and the headaches she was giving me with her mane I thought I would never get her done.

But I did!

And she's awesome. Perfectly Pinkie Pie. One thing did bother me, though. Her head. when I did Rarity, first head I made was perfect. When I started on Pinkie Pie, I had to try at least three times before I finally got it right.

Did i already mention how her mane was giving me headaches already? Because it did. And don't get me started on learning the loop stitch.

Perfectly curly.. I hope... :)
When it came to turning the damn thing, I was screwed. The tutorials said absolutely NOTHING on how to turn it, until I stumbled upon a video of much importance in my life.

But I forgot the link, so.... = l

Oh well.

I present you with more pictures of Pinkie Pie:

SO SHINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cutie Mark and sunshine

Pinkie Pie likes clocks and answering machines...

Rarity: Uh, Pinkie Pie? I think you might have partied TOO much...
Pinkie Pie: WHAT?????

On another note, here comes my Directioner side:

I GOT TAKE ME HOME ON THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CELEBRATORY SHRIEKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm done.

Here's some pics! (I take pictures of everything, BTW)

I am happy. Temporarily. Until Christmas. Than I become... a demon of some sort. I mean, a demon who hates waiting. What am I even saying anymore????????

Whatever, I have One Direction.

I should probably explain myself. I like MLP: FiM, Harry Potter, Adventure Time, One Direction, Totoro, um.... crocheting (Well, duh. This is what this blog is about), drawing, and.... other stuff.

*shrug*

BTW, this is probably my longest post ever at this point. :P

A Rarity: COMPLETED!

Introducing, for the first time, the most fabulous, fashionable, and beautiful unicorn in Equestria...

RARITY!!!!! FROM MLP!

Yes, pictures are encouraged!
She turned out awesome, did she not? She is totally glamorous, and I think I captured her fabulousness quite well! I added her pale blue eye shadow (like in the show) and if you look really closely, you can see it.

More pics:

Her mane is held in place by sewing wire into the sides of a joined-row crochet, which I just kinda crocheted with as I went, with no pattern. Pretty good, eh?

Her cutie mark. Just goes to show you that I SUCK at embroidery. Oh well.....

Darling! That red collar is SO you!
Rarity being Rarity. :)

P.S.: Pinkie Pie is in the works, but in my version, she is so very pink.

In related news:

Did any of you catch the, oh, SEASON THREE PREMIERE OF MY LITTLE PONY ON THE HUB?

I did, and it was epic. I won;t ruin it for you if you're a brony/pegasister and haven't seen it, but one thing really bothered it, and it bothered many others, too.

The multitude of commercial of Gak in a row. Honestly, the whole commercial break consisted of Gak ads. WTF?

Even though it has only been a day, there have been many artists noticing this and...drawing it.

Examples:

So. Much. Gak.

A Rarity

So, I just got a new pattern from Etsy and I'm trying it out on a project for a friend. It will turn out to be........

RARITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend is a very big fan of MLP (as am I) so it'll be really fun to do this project.

Another related project in the works is.........

PINKIE PIE!!!!!! (also from my little pony)

I'm surrounded by pegasisters..... :)

Totoro, Totoro......

Ah...... fall sunshine.
First things first: THIS TOOK FOREVER. But, in the end, it was worth it.

I used this pattern by Lucy Ravenscar. This was the best Totoro pattern I could find on Raverly, so i gave it  a try and it turned out awesome!

He was originally going to be for my friend, but.... I love him too much. :) So, now I;m going to use this pattern and modify it for her.

Nothing like a nice fall breeze to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.....

ACORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
